【Work Introduction】 Reflections turn Shinjuku’s busy streets into a parallel world. Neon lights ripple across puddles, blurring the line between reality and illusion. In this moment, the chaos of the city feels strangely cinematic. 水たまりに映るネオンが、新宿の喧騒をもうひとつの世界に変える。 揺らめく光が現実と幻想の境界を曖昧にし、都市の混沌が不思議と映画のワンシーンのように映る。 【Background of the Photograph】 This photo captures the flow of the crowd in Shinjuku on a rainy night. Originally, I had no plans to retouch this shot, but during a long stretch without rain, I revisited my older work. When I experimented with editing, a dreamlike quality emerged, and the image finally came alive as a finished piece. Looking back at past photos, I realized how often new discoveries can be found. 雨の夜の新宿で、群衆の動きを感じさせる一枚。 当初はレタッチする予定のなかった写真でしたが、雨がまったく降らない時期に過去の写真を見返し、試しに手を加えてみたところ、幻想的な表情が浮かび上がり、作品として仕上げました。 過去の作品を振り返ると、新しい発見があるものだと痛感しました。
