【Background of the Photograph】
This photo was taken near a pachinko parlor by Shinjuku Station, just after the rain had stopped.
I was drawn to the dreamlike atmosphere created by the neon lights and the wet asphalt.
I waited patiently for a quiet moment when no one was passing by.
The giant anime billboard in the background adds to the surreal mood of the scene.

この写真は、新宿駅近くのパチンコ屋の前で、雨上がりのタイミングで撮影した一枚です。ネオンの光と濡れたアスファルトが作る幻想的な雰囲気に惹かれ、人通りが途切れる静かな瞬間をじっと待って撮影しました。アニメの巨大看板も相まって、非現実感の強い作品になったなと思います。
